The Nigerian Army, 3 Battalion, Effurun in Delta State has said that it would no longer tolerate any form of violence across the state, adding, “All culprits will henceforth be severely dealt with.”
The Army Commanding Officer, Lt Col. Igwe Patrick said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Ovie of Uvwie, HRM, Emmanuel Sideso in the wake of serious attacks of herdsmen in the state.
In a similar approach, the Ovie of Idjere, Ethiope West Local Government Area, Delta State, HRM Erhiekevwe I has issued 9 days ultimatum for killer herdsmen to vacant the community.
