The federal government is set to release the travel passport and withheld salaries of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II .
Talks bothering on the release of travel documents and salaries is coming a few days after President Goodluck Jonathan and Emir Sanusi held reconciliatory meeting.
According to THE NATION, President Goodluck Jonathan has agreed on "total reconciliation with the Emir".
A source close to the Emir expressed relief about the development
"If the traveling documents are released, the Emir will be able to travel abroad for check up and to meet his international friends who are desirous of investing in the Emirate,” the source said.
Sanusi's travel documents were seized in February.
