The Nigerian army is set to retire 464 officers who have put in the obligatory 35 years of service.
VANGUARD reports that the retiring staff includes 449 from the Nigerian military, two from the Nigerian Navy and 13 from the Nigerian Air Force.
The personnel will be passing out on June 24, after undertaking training in Managerial Entrepreneurship skills at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre as part of preparation to re-integrate them into the normal life.
