LAGOS – The Nigerian military remained quiet Saturday on reports about the abduction of two Italian priests and a Canadian nun by suspected Boko Haram militants in neighboring Cameroon.
"I have not been briefed just yet about that," defense spokesman Chris Olukolade told Anadolu Agency.
"We will speak to the media when we have information regarding that," he said.
The spokesman said that terrorism is a "collective enemy that must be fought collectively".
"Our men at the border will not allow criminal kidnap and transfer to our land of innocent people," Olukolade said.
