Business Nigerian Oil Firm, Seplat, to List in Lagos and London on April 14

The Nigerian energy firm Seplat expects to start trading its stocks on both the Lagos (NSE) and London (LSE) stock exchanges on April 14th, the company has said.

Seplat says it has set a price range of 535-700 Nigerian naira in Lagos and 1.95-2.55 pounds in London. It will be giving a total initial public offering of $500 million.

The company’s expected total market capitalization is $1.995 billion or 329.5 billion naira, and it is expected to use the proceeds to acquire new assets and pay its down debt and a shareholder loan of $48 million.
