The Police in Enugu have arrested another set of suspected kidnappers and cult group kingpins, who have been on the wanted list of the command.

The police public relations officer, Ebere Amarizu in a statement on Wednesday said the suspects, which include one Jonathan Okeagu and Simon Enejere, had been on the command’s wanted list.

Amarizu said the suspects, all of Umuasa Village in Ugbene Ajima of Uzouwani Local Government Area of Enugu state were arrested by operatives at Nimbo and some stolen items were recovered from them.

A suspected notorious kidnapper and member of a robbery group, Ikechukwu Nnadi Daniel, was earlier arrested in Enugu, on Sunday by the police command after a raid was carried out on a criminal hideout popularly referred to as Malaysia Forest.

The arrests, according to Amarizu is in line with the command determination to rid the Nimbo/Adani axis of criminal activities.

Amarizu also called on all citizens to report any suspected activities in their environs, adding that full scale investigations have commenced into the matter.
