Nigerian Senate made the news this week – for many reasons. First, the controversy that has enveloped the parliament bothering on certificate scandal seem to have been put to rest for the time being. Alleged Kogi West Senator has been cleared by the Senate Probe Committee, and also by the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University. The Senate, however, did not spare former house leader, Ali Ndume over his comments on the issue. He has been suspended for 6 months. These among other issues are the top news items for this week that ends, 31 March, 2017.
