Nigerian Senators have pledged to donate N20million for victims of different boko haram attacks.
Senators yesterday resolved to task themselves to raise the sum of N20 million to support displaced persons and victims of Boko Haram activities in the northeastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.
The lawmakers also resolved to urge the Federal Government to call the attention of the international community, particularly the United Nations Commission for Refugees to the humanitarian crisis in the zone with a view to raising support for the affected persons.
The senators further urged the federal and state governments to redouble their efforts in bringing relief to the affected areas.
