The Nigerian government has made a move to ensure that industrial hubs in the country don't lack power supply, according to THISDAY:

The Federal Government is collaborating with the German government -represented by Deutshe Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) - and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), to conduct an energy audit for the industrial sector.

This is to enable the government provide uninterrupted power to manufacturing hubs across the country.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, disclosed this during a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Power, GIZ, MAN, in Abuja.

Aganga, who explained that the initiative was critical to the successful implementation of the Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP), said it would enable the Federal Government to direct adequate power to existing and potential industrial areas across the country.
