Chairman of Gombe State chapter of NMA, Dr. Jauro Degri has announced that The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has dissociated from the nationwide strike of the Joint Health Workers’ Union (JOSEHU).
He guaranteed the public that medical doctors have resumed work at the Federal Medical Centre in Gombe to provide services to patients.
He added that the services that may not be rendered due to the ongoing strike will be redirected to the places where the patients can receive the treatment.
He urged the public not to panic and asserted that they will not suffer because of the strike which commenced four days ago due to the federal government refusal to meet JOSEHU demands.
