The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, has said that there is no stranger in the PDP, stressing that every member of the party is an equal stakeholder.
Bamanga Tukur said the national leadership of PDP has resolved to build the party on justice, equity and fair-play where every member’s view would be expressed freely and also heard.
He stated this while receiving members of Hope for New Nigeria Global Initiative who paid him a solidarity visit at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata House in Abuja.
The PDP national chairman reiterated that there was no going back in the struggle to entrench democracy and good governance in Nigeria. He assured Nigerians that the PDP administration under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan would do everything possible to better the lots of the masses.
He urged members of the party to spread the gospel of peace, unity and oneness, and be “our brothers’ keepers”. He further commended the efforts of Hope for New Nigeria Global Initiative and assured of the party’s support for the planned grassroots mobilisation campaign across the federation.
