Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw on Saturday lost her bid to become a member of House of Representatives, representing Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South constituency of Cross River state.
The Nollywood actress lost to incumbent lawmaker, Rt Hon Essien Ayi.
Admitting defeat via social network, Kate Henshaw tweeted, "The primaries was conducted in an orderly manner. It was fair and transparent. Sadly I did not make it. My congrats to the winner".
