Former Senate President and a delegate representing Abia State at the National Conference, Adolphus Wabara, has said the latest bomb blasts in Nyanya, Abuja, was an indication that terrorism was fast encroaching on the elite class in the country.
Wabara, who spoke on the sideline of the conference in Abuja, said it also goes to underscore the fact that citizens of Nigeria lack adequate protection.
He described the antics of the insurgent group, Boko Haram as trying to Islamise Nigeria with obvious threats and intimidation.
Wabara said the conference has a duty to salvage the situation by proffering immediate solutions.
