Former US president, Barack Obama is still making history even while out of office.

His tweet condemning the Charlottesville racial attacks in Virginia, has garnered 2.5m likes and still counting.

He wrote: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…”

This tweet alone gathered 39,000 responses, 1.0 million retweets, and 2.4 million likes, as at the time of making this report, making it the third most-liked tweet in history, according to Esquire magazine.
