NNPC has confirmed the spillage of oil in the Ejigbo Area in Lagos State.
The oil spill was discovered in a well belonging to a man, Mr. Adedanji Ogunba. Ogunba said that when he discovered the spill, he reported to the police who stormed the house and arrested a pregnant woman.
It is alleged that the landlord dug his borehole too deep and it hit a pipeline.
The NNPC is taking steps to determine the exact spot of the leakage.
