Sports Oliseh Unhappy With Nigeria's 1-1 Draw Against Tunisia

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has disclosed that he wasn't happy about the 1-1 draw against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Friday at the ongoing CHAN championship in Rwanda, saying "we managed the game and dictated the tempo of the game".

Nigeria still remain leaders of Group C after the draw, and will be hoping to edge Guinea out next Tuesday in Gisenyi to progress to the next stage of the championship, and Oliseh believes the feat can be achieved.

Nigeria’s national team head coach, Oliseh however felt his players “deserved more” from the contest.

“(The 1-1 draw with Tunisia) was not a fair result because looking at the physiognomy of the game, we dominated everything; had more; we managed the game and dictated the tempo of the game.

“We had a feeling that we deserved more (from this game),” Oliseh told reporters after the game.

“We expect our players to go out and try to force the result.

“I am very proud of my players the way they played today (on Friday).

“A Tunisian journalist was asking me if I had this team for like a year but I told him that was not the case.

“It’s flattering when you hear things like that,” he said. Supersport
