Business Omobola Johnson Appointed Chairperson of Custodian and Allied Plc

Nigeria's former Minister of Telecommunications, Omobola Johnson, has been announced as the new chairman of Custodian and Allied Plc, a major insurance firm in the country.

Omobola's appointment follows the resignation of Michael Ade Ojo as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

She holds a B.sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Manchester, and M.Sc in Digital Electronics from Kings College/Chelsea College, University of London as well as a Doctor of Business Administration from Cranfield University, United Kingdom.

She is the Founding Chairperson and a member of the Board of trustees of Women in Management and Business. She Joined Accenture in 1985 and rose to become the Country Managing Director of Accenture in December 2005. She was Nigeria’s Minister of Communication and technology from 2011 to 2015.

Mr. Olakunle Ade-Ojo was also appointed as a Director on the Company’s Board.
