The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed optimism towards winning the November 26 governorship election in the state.

The party in a statement by the state secretary, Mr. Raman Rotimi, made available to journalists in Akure, described a comment credited to some people that APC does not have what it takes to win the election as unfounded.

The party noted that it remained unperturbed as all its efforts were geared towards emerging victorious in the forthcoming governorship election.

“We in APC remain resolute and committed to winning the governorship election and we are not prepared to drag issues with anyone or group of people.

The statement urged APC loyalists to remain focused and work for the victory of the party in the election.
