The All Progressive Congress, APC, has stated that it is investigating one of its leader, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, for anti party activities as concerns the Ondo governorship elections primary.
APC Publicity Secretary, Mr. Abayomi Adesanya, said specifically that some members loyal to Tinubu had been found to be involved in some activities against the party in the recent time.
“We have yet to confirm if our National Leader is involved in anti-party activities but we will investigate; we are very sure that some of his boys here are involved in anti-party activities but when it is time, appropriate action would be meted to them.”
“Anti-party action is a serious offence in any political party and in our own party, total expulsion is the penalty," he added.
However, a party chieftain loyal to to Tinubu, Mr. Bola Ilori, said APC members who supported Rotimi Akeredolu’s emergence as the party’s candidate were those involved in anti-party activities.
