Metro Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi, Enters 7-day Seclusion For Olojo Festival

The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has entered into a 7-day seclusion officially signalling the commencement of this year’s Olojo festival.

The seclusion which began on Sunday will last for seven day and will afford the traditional ruler the opportunity to pray for unity, development and economic recovery of the country.

Addressing newsmen before proceeding to Iledi where he would commence the seclusion prayer, Oba Ogunwusi said prayer must be offered for a positive turnaround of Nigeria.

Olojo is the yearly festival in Ile-ife known to celebrate creation of day and night.

The grand finale of the festival holds on Saturday when Ooni Ogunwusi will wear Are Crown to address the public.
