Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes has disclosed that Super Eagles forward, Peter Odemwingie has been ruled out of their EPL clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
The Nigerian international, who came in as a substitute for his side in their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend was hit with a hamstring injury and it's not clear yet when he'll be back.
“Unfortunately Peter has got a hamstring strain and is likely to miss the next couple of weeks,” Hughes said.
“It’s disappointing for him because he has worked tremendously hard throughout pre-season.”
Meanwhile, Hughes is hoping welcome to winger Marko Arnautovic and defender Marc Wilson back into his team after missing the curtain-raiser at the Britannia last Sunday. Goal
The 33-year old forward watched most of last season from the the stands due a long time injury.
