Government of the state of Osun has declared today a public holiday for celebration of traditional African festival known as Isese Festival.
The declaration goes in line with government policy on promoting peace by building equality for all religion practiced in the state.
Due to strict the adherence of the public holiday declared by the state government, public schools, civil servants and Banks are not open today.
The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘promoting religious tolerance and cooperation for social, economic and political development of the state of Osun’.
