PDP members in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Tuesday called on a former governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, to contest the 2015 guber election in the state.
They made the call at a zonal meeting of the PDP held at Alao-Akala’s residence in Ogbomoso.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Ogbomoso zonal meeting was attended by members from Ogo-Oluwa, Surulere, Oriire as well as Ogbomoso South and North Local Government Councils.
Alao-Akala was adopted after deliberation by the stakeholders and a motion moved by Mr Moses Olaniyan from Surulere Local Government.
