Pa Akerele Adu, All Progressive Congress leader and chieftain of Ondo State has been reported dead. Adu was aged 84. He died at the Ofafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital where he had been suffering from an age-related illness.
Pa Adu, was a former Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resource in Ondo State. He will be remembered for his role in the merging of political parties to form the All Progressive Congress, APC.
