At least eight people have been confirmed dead, including a pastor’s wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Helen Samuel and her three children. They were reportedly killed in an auto crash in Kategbegi village in Niger State.
The accident occurred when the vehicle owned by the Niger State Transport Authority ran into an articulated truck at a bad spot along the Bida-Minna road. They were said to be travelling from Lagos to Minna when the crash occurred. Only one passenger was rescued from the bus.
Corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the Minna General Hospital.
The Pastor announced the demise of the various members of the church in the bus accident, to the screams of the congregation.
