General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Monday evening, in Abuja, led thousands of worshippers to pray for the final cessation of the economic monster.

According to Nigerian Tribune, in a prayer session that lasted for about seven minutes, Adeboye led the prayer session after mounting the pulpit at about 6:20 p.m. during the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) version of the monthly Divine Encounter programme held at the National Stadium, Abuja, on Monday evening.

The mood of the prayer session smacked off some desperation by Nigerians to see to the end of the debacle as the congregation prayed earnestly to God for a soonest and final solution to the dilemma.

"Pray that the fuel scarcity be over soon and pray that this will be the last time we will ever have such occurrence in the country," Pastor Adeboye admonished the worshippers to supplicants unto God.
