No fewer than nine members of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), returning from the party’s special convention in Abuja, have died in a car accident along Abuja-Jos highway.
According to Osun Defenders, the nine were all youths travelling in a bus. The bus was ferrying the contingent of the Adamawa state’s PDP youth leader.
The FRSC said the accident took place about 38 km from kafanchan on the Kafanchan -Forest route, at past 8am on Sunday and that it involved two vehicles, a Volkswagen Salon with reg no RAN 107 SA and a Toyota Hiace bus registered XA 399 SHR.
FRSC said that crash left nine persons dead and another nine injured. Victims were taken to General Hopital, Kafanchan.
