A former Speaker of the House of Representatives and a governorship aspirant in #Ogun State, Mr. Dimeji Bankole, has called for unity among members of the party in the state in order to win various offices in the 2015 elections.
He said this on Monday during the party stakeholders unity forum held at Ilaro, the political headquarters of Yewaland.
Making reference to the Ayodele #Fayose victory in #Ekiti State, Bankole said it “serves as a wake-up call for all the members of the party in Ogun State to unite and work together.”
He warned that it would be dangerous to assume that the party would win the governorship election on a platter of gold, urging the members to go back to their wards and local government and mobilise the people.
He said,”It is not yet time to drum and dance, but time to rebuild the party.
