The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Thursday released the time-table for its primary elections in Ekiti and Osun states.
Based on the timetable as announced by Chief Olisa Metuh, PDP National Publicity Secretary , the eight processes preceding the gubernatorial election take place between February 24 and March 3 in Ekiti State with sale of expression of interest/nomination forms. Similar exercise in Osun State would hold between March 14 and 21st.
Aspirants interested in occupying the governorship seats are expected to return the forms in Ekiti between March 3 and 6, while in Osun, it would be between March 24 and 26. Screening of the aspirants would hold in Ekiti on March 8, while in Osun, it would be held on March 28. Appeals arising from the screening of the aspirants would hold on March 10 and 29 respectively.
Ward congresses where three ad-hoc delegates would be elected is scheduled for March 12 and April 2 in Ekiti and Osun states respectively, while the state congresses would hold on March 15 and April 5 in Ekiti and Osun respectively. Appeals arising from the congresses would be heard on March 17 for the Ekiti aspirants, while appeals from Osun would hold on April 7.
The PDP is yet to affix a price tag to the party's nomination forms.
