Austine Okwuokei, a fake policeman was on Wednesday 1st of June arrested by the Lagos state police command.
Austin is known to extort money from the public at Costain Roundabout, Iponri, under the pretence of being a policeman.

Investigation revealed that Austine makes up to Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) daily from his illegal activities which has painted the police in bad light as his victims saw him as a genuine policeman. Arrangements have been concluded to charge the suspect to court accordingly.
The Lagos State Police Command has called on the public not to give out money to anyone who claims to be a police officer or seen wearing resemblance of police uniform as the leadership of the force frowns at all forms of corruption.
