Yesterday, a Nollywood actor, Clem Onyeka, was killed in a crossfire between the Delta State Police Command and armed robbers attempting to seize a bullion van.
According to the stories, Clem was driving in the area at the time (in his private car) when a stray bullet blasted through the back of his head to his forehead. He died instantly.
A policeman was reportedly killed in the shootout. This happened at DSB road, and eyewitnesses say four armed men attacked the bullion van coming from Awka, Anambra state and headed towards the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Mariam Babangida Way.
