President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday took time out to visit his farm in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State.
The President arrived Daura last Friday after his two-day official visit to Kano State.
After inspecting his farm, President Buhari expressed hope that Nigerians would be inspired to embrace farming.
He wrote on his twitter timeline, “I’m spending a few days at home in Daura before I travel to France for the One Planet Summit.
“Today (Sunday), I paid a visit to my farm. I grow fruits and vegetables, and keep cattle. I hope this will inspire one more person to take up farming.
“My vision is for a country that grows what it eats".
Meanwhile, the President will leave the town on Monday and proceed to Paris, France where he is expected to participate in ‘One Planet Summit.’
