Metro PHOTOS of Corpers' Lodge Demolished by Zamfara State Govt

Here are photos of the Nigeria Christian Corpers' Fellowship's building in Zamfara state demolishd by local authorities. The NSCDC and the Nigerian Police were also reportedly present 'to maintain order'.

The Federal Government should compel the Zamfara State Government to erect another structure for Zamfara NCCF wherever they may deem fit. Besides that NCCF as an organization contribute to the development of many Nigeria communities. It is also a place of refuge for many corps members that are usually stranded and have no place to live during their service year.

That a church building is being erected in a residential area does not hold water. The structure I believe is situated within the compound NCCF property which I believeust have been duly apportioned. NCCF live and worship wherever they live. So the church building is not a church building as it were. Not necessarily meant for outsiders but for Christian corpers who reside in the lodge and its environs.

If that intimidates the Zamfara State government then they should tell FG not to post Christian corpers to their state again and the state will be the one to suffer for it.

It is quite saddening that the monies that were gathered from the crumbs of 19,800 has been crushed by the Zamfara state government.

What's more painful is the sweat the corpers went through to build the structure. A lil bit here, a lil bit there- out of the inadequate N19,800 monthly allowee.

This doesn't speak well for the Zamfara state.
