Politics Plateau State Assembly Probes Missing SURE-P Fund

The Plateau State House of Assembly has launched a probe over 5 billion naira suspected to be missing from the state government's account.

The said 5 billion naira is Plateau’s state share of the Subsidy Reinvestment Program (SURE-P) received by the Governor Jonah Jang-led administration between January 2012 till date.
