The Benue State Command of the Nigeria Police has cracked a robbery gang that terrorised motorists and commuters along the Ukum/Wukari roads in Benue and Taraba states.
In a shoot-out with the gang, the police said, the gang leader, Deermberga Tyohuna aka Commander, was shot to death, while other members of the gang escaped into the bush with gunshot wounds.
