Metro Police Parade Three Dismissed Officers for Impersonation

Three policemen serving under the Ogun State Command have been dismissed over alleged impersonation and extortions.

One of the affected officers, is a fake Superintendent of Police, Monday George Oliseh, who was dismissed for alleged impersonation and possession of 10 bags of Indian Hemp with a market value of N400,000.

The two others are Sunday Ekanem, who was dismissed for allegedly extorting motorists along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway while dressed in police uniform and Sergeant Victor Marepokai of the Lagos Anti-Robbery Squad, who was arrested for alleged armed robbery.

Parading the dismissed policemen and 35 other suspects at the state Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Alli said they had all confessed to the various crimes, including armed robbery and cultism and were all still being investigated.
