A driver, who hit a motorcyclist, also known as Okada rider, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital would have been lynched at the weekend, but for the intervention of the police, Daily Trust gathered.
The motorist, identified as Akeem, hit the Okada rider at the Iyana Mortuary Junction at about 11.00am, but instead of waiting to assist the injured man, sped off.
Luck was not on his side, however, as Okada riders in the area caught up with him.
