Alhaji Kabri Alkali, the President of Institute of Charted Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has appealed to the community leaders to incite and prompt the importunate value of the Accounting professions and educate the people to adapt this colossal subject as a profession. He emphasized the paramount utility of the Accounting subject. President of ICAN made this appeal to the community leaders during their visit to Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar.
He inspirited and prompted the people about the massive usage and applicability of the accounting profession by elaborating the fact that accounting is regarded as the backbone of any society, because of its useful scope and fruitful consequences if applied properly.
Alkali said that they are “sensitizing the communities to encourage the accountancy skill and profession”. The Emir also pledged to help the nurturing of the profession of accountancy at the government level.
At the end of the meeting, Alkali extended his regrets to the Emir, on the death of 11 palace guards in a recent auto crash.
