Dr Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and Publicity, yesterday ruled out the alleged proposed sale of the Nation's refinery.
Abati said, "Government is not going to sell any refineries. There is no such plan and there is no presidential approval for such. Nobody, not even the minister of petroleum has the powers to sell any government property.
Last year, the Minister of of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke had in an interview with Bloomberg TV Africa in London said that the refineries would be sold.
