After the plea for the transfer of the three Hezbollah suspects, Mustapha Fawaz, Abdallah Thahani and Talal Ahmed Rodo from the custody of SSS to Kuje prison, a complaint of preferential treatment of the three has surfaced.
However, the Prisons Public Relations Officer, Ope Fatinikun claims the protest was not because of the issue of preferential treatment rather was as a result of two groups fighting for a place for the Eid-fitri worship.
The tension was suppressed by the Deputy Controller-General in charge of Operations, Mr. Segun Bewaji but the prisoners in single cell refused to cooperate.
