Rampant Manchester United gives Moyes dream debut

David Moyes got his reign as Manchester United coach on a positive start,with his side thumping Swansea City 4-1 at the Liberty Stadium to take all three points.
Two goals each from Robin Van Persie and Daniel Welbeck in each half,helped Manchester United start the defence of their Premier League title on a flyer.
Swansea’s impressive range of passes was evident,as they outplayed the champions in the opening stages of the game,but United absorbed all the pressure as the game wore on.
But Swansea couldn’t find the net,despite enjoying a greater possession. Ryan Giggs came close for United,with his effort going across the face of goal.
Then United’s moment came when Van Persie,was at the end of a pass from Giggs to turn it for 1-0,and just two minutes after,Welbeck made it 2-0 for the visitors,having no difficulty tapping in a cross from Antonio Valencia.
Despite a double substitution after the break,with the introduction of Wilfried Bony and Pablo Hernandez,United looked like they were going to add to their tally.
Minutes after Rangel saw his volley flash across goal,Wayne Rooney who came on as a substitute,played in Van Persie and the Dutchman drifted past a challenge to blast in a unstoppable shot beyond Vorm to make it 3-0.
Swansea got an opportunity though,Welbeck was caught in possession,and Michael Laudrup’s team,played a quick interchanges of passes,before new signing Bony guided the final ball past De Gea to make the scores 3-1.
There was time though for Welbeck to make amends,as he scored the fourth goal to put the icing on the cake for David Moyes,who has started life as Manchester United coach,just where his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson left it.
