Following the murder of a youth in a gang war in Khana Local Government of Rivers State on Friday, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon.Leyii Kwanee, has condemned the spate of cultism and the return of violent gang wars in the state.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after visiting the affected community to assess the situation yesterday, the Deputy Speaker said it was incredible that cultism was creeping back into the state after the government of Governor Chibuike Amaechi had dealt with such insecurity.
