Wike who was represented by his deputy, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo, stated that although the airport project belongs to the Federal Government, the State Government would adopt advocacy means to ensure the smooth completion of the airport project, to ease hardship encountered by Air Travellers and Airport Users.

He said the State Road Maintenance Agency would be mobilized to Omerelu Community to embark on internal road rehabilitation and construction to address poor road network in the area.
