Arsenal football club has hailed Alex Iwobi for scoring the winning goal that made Nigeria qualify for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Iwobi's lone strike against Zambia on Saturday at the Goodswill Akapbio stadium in Uyo pulled the Super Eagles through in Group B.
Arsenal FC on its twitter account said: “From coming through our academy to sending Nigeria to the World Cup.
“We’re all so proud of you, @alexiwobi”
