Nigerians should expect a fair and just judgement of suspended SGF Babachir Lawal, the Presidency has stated.

Lawal was suspended after being indicted by the senate for perpetrating a contract scam at an IDPs camp in northern Nigeria.

A committee headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was set up to look into the matter and report to President Muhammadu Buhari for action. However, the President left the country for UK on Sunday evening and there are talks he may not have gotten the report.

Presidential Spokesman Femi Adesina, speaking on Monday morning said Osinbajo met with the President before he left the country.

"The vice president met with the president yesterday before he travelled. It is not unlikely that that (the submission of the report) may have come up," Adesina said.

He also stated that given the reputation of the members of the panel, Nigerians should expect "what is fair and just" from the report

There is no two ways about it. Such indictment has no two views or verdicts but outright punishment. So, there is no doubt about his sack but if otherwise decided, thunder will strike from heaven. Bia, enough is enough, you people should stop all these scamming kind of administration ooo.
