Politics Saraki, Akpabio, 9 Other Senators Sued For Magu's Rejection

Mr. Raji Rasheed Oyewumi, a Lagos businessman has filed a suit against Senate President, Bukola Saraki and 10 other Senators over the failure of the Nigerian senate to clear Ibrahim Magu as substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.



THE NATION reports that Oyewumi wants the court to declare that the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki and 10 Senators, being investigated by EFCC, ought not to have participated in the screening of Magu.

The defendants in the matter are:

Others are the Clerk to the National Assembly, the Senate, the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Acting EFCC chairman.
