According to a chieftain of the APC, Lekan Ojo, the Senate is at war with the presidency because the Muhammadu Buhari administration is not buying into its corrupt ways and activities.
Speaking in an interview published by DailyTrust, he said lobbying won't solve the problem as the senators want the presidency to slow down the anti-graft war- a thing which is not feasible.
"There is a principle in the 48 laws of power that states ‘Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will scatter.’ Let all of us rise against the Senate leadership and force them to resign and or compel them to be impeached and you will see a new Senate that will move our country forward; we are getting there," he said.
