Six persons were killed while 21 others were seriously injured in an accident that occurred along the Abeokuta-Lagos expressway. The accident allegedly occurred on Saturday, the 17th of August and involved three vehicles.
The Itori Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Fatai Bakare, stated that 27 persons, 20 males and 7 females were involved in the crash. He attributed the cause of the accident to the loss of control of one of the vehicles involved by the driver.
The deceased have been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ifo, while the injured are currently receiving treatment from the same hospital.
