Youth groups in Sokoto,Kebbi and Zamfara states have called on former military Head of State, Gen Muhammadu Buhari to drop out of the All Progressives Congress,APC presidential race and give his support to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
According to DAILY TRUST, addressing newsmen in Sokoto, Lukman Yakub, who heads a coalition of youths from the aforementioned northern states, urged Buhari, whom he noted had had a shot at the number one position in the country to give Atiku a chance to run on the party’s ticket.
Yakub concluded by telling Buhari that come 2015, Nigerians will be voting for candidates and not political parties.
