Sports Sudan vs Nigeria update: Keshi wants a chartered flight for the Super Eagles

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has demanded for his team to be airlifted with a chartered flight from Nigeria to Sudan for this weekend's 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria will on Saturday play against Sudan in Khartoum before returning to Abuja or possibly Kaduna for the return fixture.

Having just one point after two matches, the Super Eagles cannot afford to drop any more points if they hope to qualify for the Nations Cup tournament in Morocco.

Keshi wants a situation where the Super Eagles can have an easy movement in an out of Sudan,to quickly come back and prepare for the return leg in Nigeria.

“Yes it will be nice to travel with a chartered flight because it is always an issue travelling within Africa in a passenger aircraft. In a fixture like we have, the ideal thing is to move in there play the game and leave immediately to come and prepare for the return leg,” Keshi said on Wednesday.

The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) are yet to announce the itinerary of the Super Eagles for the game.
